Description
The Bently Nevada 9200 Seismoprobe Velocity Transducer is designed to measure absolute (relative to free space) bearing housing, casing, or structural vibration. Utilizing a two-wire, moving-coil technology, the Seismoprobe provides a voltage output directly proportional to vibration velocity, making it ideal for machinery condition monitoring. Unlike solid-state velocity transducers, moving-coil transducers are less sensitive to impacts and impulsive excitation, ensuring stable performance in rugged environments. The transducer does not require external power, which makes it especially convenient for portable measurement applications.
The 9200 Seismoprobe is well-suited for monitoring common machine faults such as unbalance and misalignment, and can be used with continuous monitoring systems or test/diagnostic instruments. When ordered with the integral cable option, the transducer provides excellent resistance to corrosive environments without the need for additional protection.
